National Flood Insurance Program

In 1968, Congress created the National Flood Insurance Program to help property owners.   This is a partnership with FEMA and around 90 private insurance companies.   Standard homeowners insurance does not cover flooding.

If you are a property owner and do not have flood insurance, check out the NFIP Partnership website.

Hurricane activity is expected this year.
